The tile series "NUTS" was inspired by the custom-made Kurumicco-shaped tiles created for the KAMAKURA BENIYA head office by DINAONE, the tile division of the LIXIL Group.
LIXILグループタイル部門のDINAONEより、鎌倉紅谷八幡本店で特注作成したクルミッ子形状のタイルにインスパイアされた、タイルシリーズ、「NUTS」が発売。
Pieces are carefully made one piece at a time through the wet construction method, with the baked color adjusted to reduce unevenness. The tiles are available in ivory, orange, and black, shrunk to a size that feels close to mosaic tiles. The product enables beautiful tiling even on small-radius wall surfaces that had earlier not been possible, without conspicuous masonry joints.
湿式工法により１ピースづつ丁寧に作り上げられ、焼き色もムラを抑えるように調整。カラーはアイボリー、オレンジ、ブラックの３色展開で、モザイクタイルに寄せたサイズ感に縮小。今まで出来なかった小さなアールの壁面でも、継ぎ目の目地を意識させることなく、美しく貼ることができる製品になっている。
